Operations Specialist

Audrey Ziemer is an Operations Specialist at The Smith Richards Group with a background in psychology and operations support. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Psychology and brings strong experience in data accuracy, CRM management, and process-driven work. Audrey has supported admissions teams, healthcare brands, and university programs, combining attention to detail with a people-first mindset shaped by her work in mentoring and student support.

What drew you to financial planning?

I enjoy both logistical and interpersonal work. I want to assist our firms advisors in helping people reduce their financial stress and achieve their goals.

What does “better” mean to you?

Better means trying each and every day and not letting your mistakes define what you do, laughing about them, learning from them, and moving on.

What’s something people are surprised to learn about you?

I used to show dogs; I had a Shih tzu named Gus and we competed together. The other thing that I can think of is that I play the Kalimba!

What’s your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is going to visit Carmel by the Sea. The beaches were beautiful and the town itself was very cute! On this trip I also got to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium which had stunning displays and some very adorable otters outside in the bay itself.

Where would we find you on a sunny Saturday?

A picnic and some arts and crafts at green lake; soaking up the sun and eating yummy finger food. Alternatively I might be visiting the aquarium down by the pier and enjoying the water.
