Colin likes turning complicated financial ideas into plans that make sense. He combines financial know-how with genuine care so clients can make decisions that feel right for their goals and their lives.

He grew up in the Seattle area and now resides in Issaquah. Outside of work, Colin and his fiancé Maddy love to spend time outdoors. Colin never skips an opportunity to go for a hike or to go skiing.

What drew you to financial planning?

What drew me was the ability to help people. I have always wanted to be in an industry where you are making a difference in peoples' lives. And financial planning can truly change peoples lives.

What does "better” mean to you?

It means doing things that bring fulfillment in life. This is both for me and what I urge my clients to discover. I think everyone’s better is different and I think everyone is in search for what their true “better” is. I think I am still discovering what mine is and I work with clients to help discover theirs.

What’s something people are surprised to learn about you?

I play in a softball league every summer.
I love the outdoors. Every change I get, I go hiking, golfing, and skiing.

What’s your favorite travel memory?

I recently went to Lake Tahoe and got engaged. Lake Tahoe is a special place for us because my grandparents have a cabin there and we have gone there a few times since we have been together.

Where would we find you on a sunny Saturday?

First, having a great cup of coffee. Then going for a walk (preferably within nature). Then trying to do some form of activity (boating, golfing etc). After that, go out to dinner with either Maddy or some friends and enjoy an ice cold beer.
