Laura combines formal training in the area of personal financial planning with a natural curiosity about people and their goals. She helps create a smooth, consistent experience for clients through clear communication and thoughtful follow-through.

When she isn’t at work, Laura is likely at a concert, soaking up the energy. She also loves being outdoors, whether she is camping, snowboarding, or spending time with friends.

What drew you to financial planning?

I took a class in high school about financial planning and liked that I could combine my love of math/problem solving with the ability to help people. Found a college that offered a financial planning degree and grew my knowledge from there.

What does “better” mean to you?

Having a well balanced life! A job I absolutely love, coworkers who I think of as friends/family, a group of friends who’s always willing to go on adventures (from trying out a new coffee shop to jumping on a plane to explore a new city), spending time with my own extended family.

What’s something people are surprised to learn about you?

I live in the woods on a river. I love to read. I spend my free time camping and taking my jeep offroading. Traveling internationally when I can. My family and friends are incredibly important to me.

What’s your favorite travel memory?

There’s a library that I saw a picture of in high school and I always dreamed that one day I would get to visit. 6 years later, I got to go to Austria and visit the library and it was even better than the pictures. Such a cool experience of a dream becoming reality.

Where would we find you on a sunny Saturday?

I usually try to fill my sunny Saturdays camping and spending time with friends and family. If not camping, grabbing coffee with friends and meeting at the farmers market or sitting outside with a good book.
